Mayco Underglaze: Chocolate 59ml

Check out Mayco’s Chocolate underglaze. Fired at Cone 06 in oxidation, Chocolate will produce a smooth matte finish without the need for a clear glaze. If you want to intensify the color or make your piece dinnerware-safe, simply apply a clear or matte clear glaze on top.

For higher firings, this underglaze is quite versatile: at Cone 6 oxidation the color deepens as it concentrates, and at Cone 10 reduction it similarly intensifies. We recommend using Mayco’s SW-001 Stoneware Clear glaze at those temperatures to lock in vibrancy and ensure a glossy, food-safe surface.
